The coursework will focus on understanding of both the fundamental principles and techniques of molecular biology. Students will study nucleic acid structure, molecular genetics, and the biochemistry of mRNA transcription and protein synthesis.
In this coursework, students will work on a large project comprises eight linked laboratory practices that introduces students mRNA and protein expression techniques using cultured mammalian cells with or without drug treatment.
Based on the foundation, students should become able to design and perform experiments using proper assay controls and analyze data after finishing this course-work.
We offer Start-up and Advanced Courseworks of Biomedical Sciences in Center for Medical Specialist Graduate Education and Research.
Students will perform Cell culturing, nucleic acid and protein level expression analyses. Through this coursework, students will learn the basics of molecular biological experiments and understand the mechanisms of expression regulation from genomes to proteins that function in the body.
While working on a mini-project, students will learn to conduct medical and biological research.
